Just Another Day

Being that I was heavily influenced by instrumental music, I started writing my own songs in my teens.  A good ol’ fashioned 4-track would allow me to record my ideas but I needed a drummer, bass player etc.  Enter the Boss DR-5 Dr. Rhythm machine.  Packed with drums, bass, piano, synth – you name it, and this had it.  I learned that thing inside and out and I recorded many demos.  One weekend I got my hands on an 8 track and literally re-recorded all of my songs in 2 days.  This time I was able to record harmony guitar parts that I had always heard in my head but didn’t have the means to record with only 4 tracks.  I mixed and mastered them to the best of my abilities.

Although I never put them to disc and did an official “album”, they were a part of my “archive” or “lost tapes” as some people refer to them.
